One content store feeds every surface — the site and the machine-readable feeds are generated from it, never maintained beside it. No React, no CSS frameworks; raw CSS on a small set of design tokens.

The fundamental truths meant to stay valid regardless of technology, design, AI models, or implementation. Ratified 7 July 2026; amended only through a recorded process. Ordered as a lifecycle — identity, purpose, creation, record, compact, preservation, stewardship — and co-equal: position is narrative, not rank.

   The Remit

   AKKIIPC is the canonical public record of Akash Prakash Chaudhari's creative practice — the work, the learning, the thinking, the experiments, and their evolution over time. One question decides entry: is this part of the practice? Everything that enters has exactly one authoritative home here.

2. P2

   The record serves the practice

   AKKIIPC documents a living practice; it must never replace it. Making comes first — a season of making with thin documentation beats a season of documentation with no making. Rigor governs the record, never the spirit: play, experiments, and delight hold permanent room.

3. P3

   Show the thinking

   Process, errors, revisions, and reasons are collection material of equal rank with outcomes. An outcome without its thinking is half an artifact.

   Integrity of the record

   Everything is dated truthfully (when made ≠ when entered ≠ when published), corrected by appending, and changed with recorded reasons. The record may be curated in view, never falsified in substance — and curation may lower prominence, never reachability.

   Knowledge compounds through relationships

   An item’s value is in what it connects to — projects, ideas, people, sources, moments in time. The collection grows by connecting, not by accumulating.

   Humans first; machines through the same door

   The primary reader is a person. Machine legibility is achieved by making the human record honest, structured, and dated — never by maintaining a separate truth for machines.

   Trust is the only compounding asset

   The institution makes few promises, keeps all of them, and never sells the reader's attention or its own judgment. Anything that spends trust for reach is a loss, whatever the metrics say.

   The record outranks the mood

   The founder’s present feelings — shame, boredom, fashion — hold no authority over past commitments. The past self is a colleague. The institution must be able to win arguments against its owner.

   Collection over venue

   The institution is the collection, its record, and its promises — never the current website, platform, tool, or collaborator. Every venue must be replaceable without loss. Could the collection walk away tomorrow?

10. P10

    Irreversibility outranks urgency

    Anything whose delay destroys information, provenance, or optionality is foundation work and goes first, however unglamorous. Everything reversible can wait its turn.

    Rhythm over campaigns

    The institution lives by small repeated acts — a pulse that cannot fail — not by bursts of effort. Dormancy is a season: planned for, visible in the record, cheap to return from. Alive outranks polished.

    Built to be continued, and to end

    The institution must survive its founder’s absence in both directions: operable by a capable stranger from its artifacts alone, and possessed of a known completed form — a closed, preserved collection, not a rotting site.

13. P13

    Unenforced principles don't exist

    Every rule lives as a mechanism — a gate, a structure, a ritual, a check — or it is decoration. Every mechanism must make the institution harder to break, never harder to change. The institution is what it repeatedly does.

The honest limit. Entry to the record is decided by one question — and one judge, who is also the founder and the interested party. Every one-person constitution has this hole; pretending otherwise would be this document's only lie. The check is not prevention but permanent legibility: reasons are recorded, and a bad call is preserved for future audit.

• Git is the archive of record

  The live database is exported to plain, open-format files in Git every night. If the host disappeared tomorrow, the whole collection is still a folder you can read. The host renders the record; it does not hold it. (P9)

• URLs never break

  Once a URL is public, it keeps resolving forever. Renamed pages 301 through a redirect ledger rather than 404. Nothing published is ever severed. (P4)

• Every venue is replaceable

  The site, the host, any platform — all can be swapped without losing the record. The institution is the collection and its promises, not the tool it happens to run on. (P9)
